The SHAS Pep Squad showed a jam-packed, surprise-filled six-minutes-and-thirty-seconds-performance studded with numerous stunts, props and a two-fold costume that wowed the Louisian and Marian crowd.
Ultimately, the green, white, yellow, and gold clad pep squad emerged as champions as they finished to concretize their yell "We, the SHAS Pep Squad, we are here to win no matter what; we won't give up."
The School of Engineering, Architecture and Interior Design (SEAID) came in second place, School of Information and Computing Sciences (SICS) third, School of Hospitality and Vocational Education (SHVED) fourth, and SBAA, High School and the School of Education, Arts and Sciences (SEAS) in the fifth to seventh spots, respectively.
"Our efforts and sacrifices have all paid off. If you want to achieve what you want in life, you have to give your best, your determination, and always ask for guidance from the Almighty," Mr. Mark John Culili, SHAS pep squad member said.
The performance presented by the 24-member ensemble of SHAS students was choreographed by Mr. Joany "Niño" Salayo, RN, an alumnus and former cheerdancer of the department.
